Jules Collarile isn’t your average 15-year-old… picking up a guitar at the age of six is no easy task but it has provided Jules the ability to express herself in terms well beyond her years.
Average 15 year olds have not released a EP of original songs or co-written with well known musicians, performed on festival stages or had their songs be noticed by industry professionals having those songs open more doors in her very early career.
Songwriters are only as good as their observations of the world around them. Being able to paint a picture with words, giving a voice to emotions we find difficult to express. Jules possesses that ability, her lyrical content shows a maturity beyond what you might expect at first glance. When you bundle that with a magnetic stage presence, unique voice and the ability to play both guitar and piano, you begin to understand why people are beginning to take notice.
Jules has already released an EP entitled Heart of Armour which was produced by fellow Canadian songstress Karen Kosowski (EmmaLee, Ash&Bloom and Alee). Having been one of the youngest recipients of FACTOR (A highly competitive Canadian music grant program) shows the type of faith music industry professionals have that Jules has the ability to be successful. With that vote of confidence, she is currently hard at writing songs for her second release expected in the early part of 2017.
